I've lost my face in the sea

I've lost my face in the sea,

And seagulls were playing with my hair.

And I thought it would be nice to be another man.

And I bought myself new nose and ears.

And my mouth I inherited from grandma.

And my eyes I found in a sandbox -

They were so round and so specular.

And I understood I can fly.

This way I became a transatlantic flights' pilot.

But sometimes,

I close my eyes,

And I see the sea from within and without,

And I hear my lips

Gently rocking on waves.
